Murry J. Rabalais, 87, of Pass Christian, died Thursday May 21, 2009 in Biloxi.
Mr. Rabalais was a member of the U.S. Army 101st Air Borne, Prisoner of War, and he received the Purple Heart with Three Oakleaf Clusters. He was Co-Owner of 4R's Restaurant in Pass Christian for over 30 years. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was also known for making Tiffany Lamps and Stain Glass Lighthouses.
Mr. Rabalais was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Mary Rabalais; his brother, Sam Rabalais; and his sister, Rita Knifong.
He is survived by his son, John """"Drew"""" Rabalais (Lynn) of Pass Christian; and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for friends at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach.
The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 3:30 pm. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Pass Christian.
