Muriel Maxine Necaise

Muriel Maxine Mitchell Necaise of Pass Christian, went to see her Lord on August, 18 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Muriel is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Leamon Necaise. Leamon and Muriel were married on March 18, 1950. She was born in Kiln, MS, on October 11, 1933. She was the sixth of 10 children of Kire C. Mitchell, Sr. and Corellia Necaise Mitchell.
Muriel worked at the Pass Christian Industries Garment Factory as a supervisor for many years, She was a superb seamstress who made many garments for family and friends as well as costumes for Mardi Gras krewes such as Nereids.
Muriel was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt to her family and was adored by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kire C. Mitchell, Sr. and Corellia Mitchell; brothers, Kire C. Mitchell, Jr., Marshall Mitchell, Leland Mitchell; sisters, Mignon Bonvillion, Margie Woods, Janice Saucier, Ruby Farve; son, Leamon J. Necaise, Jr., grandson, Randy Dwight Necaise; and granddaughter, Janice Maxine Necaise.
Muriel is survived by her husband; sons, Rex A. Necaise, Sr. (Gloria), Lowery Necaise; grandchildren, Rex A. Necaise, Jr., Brad Necaise (Heidi), Joseph Necaise (Colleen), Josh Necaise (Krystle), Derek Necaise (Melissa), Myra Necaise; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Kare-In-Home Hospice for their wonderful care. The family wishes to give a special thanks to her nieces, Sheila Thomas, Rhonda Oliver, Peggy Luke, Lizette Biel, and granddaughter Heidi Necaise for such loving care through her illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 with visitation 1 hour prior to mass.
