Murdock """"Gene"""" Winstead, age 75, of Savannah, GA passed away on September 25, 2009 in Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara M. Winstead.
He is survived by his children, Douglas Gene Winstead of Daphne, AL and Tamra J. Kohutek of Savannah, GA; a sister, Brenda W. Dombrosky, of Palm Beach, FL; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was a former deacon at First Baptist Church of Pass Christian.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Noon at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49, Gulfport, where family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
