MSgt. Paul Richard Conrad, U. S. Air Force, retired, of Biloxi, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Forbes Conrad; and a son, Peter Conrad.
He is survived by his children, Paul R. Conrad, II of Biloxi, Carl Robert Conrad, and his wife Patricia, of Ocean Springs, and Mary Conrad Welch, and her husband Scot, of Clinton; five grandchildren: Melanie Chinn, Shelby Welch, Tucker Welch, Riley Welch, and Cooper Welch; and a great-granddaughter, Sarah Chinn.
Mr. Conrad was born in Wooster, Ohio and was a graduate of the University of South Mississippi. He worked as a substitute teacher for a few years, and was a Calibration Technician at Stennis Space Center.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 25 years of service. He was a Boy Scout Troop Leader with Troop 215, Biloxi, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Biloxi. Mr. Conrad was a member of Tokyo Masonic Lodge #2, Biloxi York Rite Bodies, and Gulfport Scottish Rite Bodies.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2014 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY at a later date.
