Wilma “Jo” Rich, 89, woke up in God’s heavenly kingdom on August 27, 2021.
Jo was known for her keen sense of humor, green tomato relish, and green thumb. She will be missed deeply by family and friends until we are reunited in heaven and can hug her neck again.
Jo is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Glen T. Rich; parents, Annie Bell and William Joe Murray; brother, George Murray; sisters, Mildred Mitchell and Mamie Cooper; son-in-law, Thomas “Tommy” Amacker; and her great-grandson Jonathan Amacker.
Jo is survived by her sisters in law, Ruby Faye Thomas, Hellon Smith, Bonnie Sue McElroy, Glenda Redfern, and Wodie Carbone; 5 children, Ron Rich (Pam), Carolyn Amacker, Lynn Amacker (Doug), Lester Rich, and Debbie Babb (Tom); 8 grandchildren, Lisa Ray (David), Kelli Jo Amacker, Thomas “Spike” Amacker (Laura), Justin Amacker (Jessie), Kevin Amacker (Gloria), Jessica Camposagrado (Gabe), Nolan Babb, and Chris Babb; 16 great-grandchildren, Amanda (Steven), Ashley (Frankie), Tyler, Haley (Abel), Jake, Larkyn, Tripp, Joey, Dakota, Daytona, Dalton, Maddie, Lily, Harper, Marshall, Jonah, and “JJ”; 6 great-great grandchildren Chanston, Rowan, Amorie, Eleanor, Mateo, and Rylee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At this time there will be a private graveside service for immediate family only with a celebration of life for family and friends at a later date. Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving
the family.
