Morris aÌ‚â‚Å“MoeaÌ‚â‚ Peterson, Sr., age 71 of Pass Christian, MS, died on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. Peterson was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans and was a member of the Longshore Union #3000 in New Orleans. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Peterson is preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose Peterson, Sr. & Annie Miller Peterson; his sister, Lorraine Peterson and his brothers, Ambrose Peterson, Jr., and Merlin Peterson, Sr.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Jeanette Peterson of Pass Christian; his children, Morris (Tina) Peterson, Jr., Wendy (Harry) Braud, Mark (Patty) Peterson, Laurie (Danny) Guarino, Miles (Lorna) Peterson, and Janet (Norman) Coscino all of Louisiana; his sisters, Doris Blum of LA and Joycelyn Clanton of MS; his brother, Noell Peterson of LA; his grandchildren, Chad, Harry, Jr., Candis, Danny, Jr., Lorin, Erin, Morris, Michelle, and Nathan and his great grandchildren, Kali, Hunter, Harry, III, Annabell, and Hailey.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2:00pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS. An online guestbook may be viewed and signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
