Monroe Morris

Mr. Monroe Morris, age 93, of Pass Christian, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011, at home with his family by his side.
Mr. Morris was born in Missouri to Charles and Rena Glass Morris in 1917. He was a member of Gulfhaven Mennonite Church in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Susie Lindsey Morris; his parents; his son, Jerry Morris; and his granddaughter, Shelly Morris.
He is survived by daughter Venita (Robert) Manning of Pass Christian, son William Morris (Marty Horsley) of Mooresville, IN, and daughter, Carol (Richard) Farley of Mooresville, IN; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Commer of Cave City, KY, and Earline Spears of Indianapolis, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, at 2 p.m. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
