Mitzi Ann Poteet, 56, of McHenry, MS, passed away at home with family by her side after a long battle with Cancer on September 2, 2012.
Mitzi was born in Drew, MS. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She lived in Long Beach, MS for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband Roger Poteet; daughters, Jennifer Steward and Jackie Reeves Lacy; step-son Roger Poteet, Jr.; step-daughter Michelle; grandchildren, Justin and Bailey Lacy, John Kenworthy and Jessie Steward; sister, Pam White; 5 nephews and 2 nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Skippie Bright; mother, Annie Bright; and brothers, Sammy and Mike Bright.
A celebration of life service will be held at First Pentecostal Church, 11317 Old Hwy. 49, Gulfport, MS 39503, Thursday Sept. 6, 2012, at 5:00 pm.
