Mitchell L. Smith, age 65, of Poplarville, passed away on July 14, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Toxie Smith and Lenora Cuevas Smith; and a daughter, Sonya Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Smith; a daughter, Lisa Moran; nine grandchildren, Matthew Duncan, Whitney Fountain, Brent Necaise, Cody Fountain, Haley Necaise, Christopher Moran, Tristan Moran, Alexia Moran, and Adison Moran; and his brothers and sister, Tilous Smith, Dillus Smith, Dealous Smith, and Sylvia Smith.
For those sending flowers, green plants and fresh flower vases are preferred.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 after 6:00 PM at Steep Hollow Baptist Church, Poplarville. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow.
