Mitchell Shawn Johnson, 48, of Nacogdoches, TX passed away on Tuesday Oct 14, 2008 in Nacogdoches.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Johnson and Evelyn Johnson; his sister, Johnnie - Ruth McKay; his brothers, Fred Johnson and Wesley Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Pamela Lee Johnson of Nacogdoches, TX; his son Jarrod Blaine Johnson of Denton, TX; his daughter Jessica Brett Johnson of Nacogdoches, TX; his brother James Clyde Johnson, Jr of Sunset, TX; his brother-in-law Paul G. McKay of Woolmarket, MS; his niece Michelle Darby of Woolmarket, MS; and his nephew Gene McKay of Woolmarket, MS.
Mr. Johnson was of the baptist faith. He was a longtime member of Milam Masonic Lodge No.2 A.F. & A.M in Nacogdoches, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 9 to 10 A.M. with a funeral service to immediately follow at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. Burial to follow at Coalville Cemetery, Biloxi.
