Miss Mary Margaret Turcotte, 85 of Waveland, Mississippi passed away on January 7, 2010 in Diamondhead, Mississippi.
Miss Mary Margaret was member of Saint Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Mississippi Southern College (now The University of Southern Mississippi), a retired school teacher with the Bay Saint Louis-Waveland School District, a member of the National Retired Teachers Association and the American Association of Retired Persons.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Frances Turcotte Sr and Cecile Carrio Turcotte. Four sisters, Mrs. Edna T. Bourgeois, Mrs. Stella T. Schwander, Miss Cecile Turcotte and Miss Evelyn Turcotte.
She is survived by one sister Mrs. Shirley T. Piazza and one brother Mr. Walter F. Turcotte, Jr. (Bette). Nine Nephews, Clarence J. Piazza (Judy), Samuel J. Piazza (Sweetie), Michael D. McGill (Jeanine), Charles M. Piazza (Emily), Walter F. Turcotte, III (Carleen), David B. Turcotte (Mary), Stephen C. Turcotte (Dee Dee), Jacob L. Schwander (Susan), Walter F. Schwander (Tina). Five Nieces, Mrs. Edna B. Cunningham, Mrs. Linda S. Guestella (Russell), Mrs. Charlotte P. Gannon (David), Miss Lauren Turcotte, Miss Julia Piazza.
She is also survived by 18 Grand Nephews, 7 Great Grand Nephews, and 16 Grand Nieces, 11 Great Grand Nieces as well as many dear cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 6 to 10 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. at Saint Clare Catholic Church, Waveland on Monday, January 11, 2010 with visiting hours two hours prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Waveland Cemetery.
