Miriam Kapp

Miriam Byars Kapp passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at age 83.

She was born April 14, 1939, in El Dorado, Arkansas.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Kapp of Long Beach, MS; son, Derral McDonald of Pass Christian, MS; daughter, Jan McDonald of Manhattan Beach, CA; and two yellow cats. All who loved her dearly.  She was a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Uell Rhea Byars and Almedia McCloud Byars of El Dorado, AR; brother, Robert Byars of La Porte, TX; sisters, Norma Jean Lyon of Warren, AR, Jane Worrel of North Little Rock, AR, and Renna Logan of El Dorado, AR.

She received her education in El Dorado school system.  She married William Kapp in 1971 and spent 51 happy years as a homemaker.  She collected antiques, set up in a flea marker and shopped at all the thrift stores. Everyone loved her.

Burial will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Blvd., Biloxi, MS at 12:30 pm.
