Minnie Lee Wiley, age 77 of Biloxi, died at Ocean Springs Hospital on Friday, September 1, 2023. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Eva Bass of Bassfield, MS; sister, Mary Louise Keys, brothers, Moezell Bass, Walter Bass, John Bass, Jr., Gerald Bass, and Roy Lee Holloway; grandchildren, Dereika Bass and Dalien Currie; and a loving and devoted lifelong partner, Fred Wiley.
Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Elbert) Rogers, Melanie (James) Bass-Brice, Jacqueline (Eric) Miller-Weathersby, Christine (Marcus) Triplett, Frederick Bass; stepchildren, Freda Wiley, Mallette Wells, Bruce (Amanda) Wiley, Stacy Ward, Patrick Ward, and Samuel Jackson; brother, Bobby (Patricia) Bass; two loving and devoted sister in laws, Gail Bass and Thelma Jones; a loving and devoted brother in law, Willie Poole; and a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 12 until 2 pm Saturday, September 9, 2023 at New Bethel Apostolic Assembly. The Service will follow at 2 PM with Bishop Fonzer officiating. Burial will follow at Scranton Cemetery. The Repast will be held at New Bethel Apostolic Assembly after the burial.
Riemann Family Funeral Home of West Jackson County is assisting the family.
