Minda Probus

Minda Fite Probus, of Pass Christian, MS, loving daughter, sister, mother and friend departed her life from this earth in the early hours of Monday, 12 July 2021. By the grace of God she is now walking on streets of gold overlooking her wonderful family. Minda was born on August 16, 1964 in Cedar Falls, IA to the late Maurice Fite and Brenda Blackburn Fite, whom she followed to heaven. Minda leaves her loving husband, Rex; and 2 children, Matt Reed and Erin Reed Rodriguez(Oscar); her grandkids, Mason, Mya and Amalia; her sister, Lisa Mellies(Rodney) and brother, Jay Fite.

Matt and Erin always knew they would be told the absolute truth whether they liked it or not. She was a leader in everything she did. Above all, second only to being a mother, Minda was a nurse in several fields. She touch lives all across the country through travel nursing. She genuinely loved nursing and caring for others. Lastly, Minda loved finding good deals from couponing/bargain hunting to antique hunting. She was always on the look out for the next great deal. Minda's crafty nature made it possible to DIY anything. Not only did she refurbish furniture, but could also sew or crochet anything upon request.

She will be dearly missed by numerous relatives and a host of friends, who are feeling her absence but recall her laughter and honesty.
