Milton Fermon Lewis, age 68, of Saucier, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007, in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mildred (Baker) Lewis; son, Scott Lewis, sister, Claire Lewis; maternal grandparents, Clara Garrett & James Baker and Burl Garrett; paternal grandparents, James Henry and Lelia Lewis.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Billie Lewis of Saucier; children, Regina (Donnie) Gipson, James Lewis both of Saucier, Colleen (Shane) Tucker of Milton, FL; brother, James P. (Eveora) Lewis of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Tony Gipson, Nicholas (Summer) Gipson, Timothy Gipson, Dakota Lewis, Danny Williams, Shelby Bosarge, and Jesse Tucker; great-grandchildren, Jace White and Jayden White.
Mr. Lewis was born in Monroe, Louisiana. He served in the United States Navy, retired from Struthers Industries and from Beau Rivage Casino. He was currently a master sergeant for Asset Protection. He bowled in the Bud Breakers League in Ocean Springs, enjoyed golf, and was a family man. He was a past Master and charter member of Orange Grove Masonic Lodge # 635 F&AM, past Worthy Patron of Harmony Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and a lifetime member of the VFW.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport, where friends may visit after 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Gardens, Gulfport.
