Milton Lloyd Joyner, age 86, of Gulfport, passed away on June 28, 2012 at Garden Park Hospital in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James N. Joyner and Albertina Hirth Joyner; a brother, James Joyner; and a cousin, Josephine Parnell.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Margaret R. Joyner; a son, Roger S. Joyner of Gulfport; several first cousins and numerous friends.
He served in the U.S. Air Force where he retired after 23 years as a Master Sergeant. Following his military retirement, he was a math teacher in the Biloxi School system for many years.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 5:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation from 4:00 PM until the service. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Andrews Chapel Cemetery, Millport, AL.
