Milton Lee Harris

Milton Lee Harris, age 87, of Gulfport, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023.

Mr. Harris was born in Hazlehurst, MS. on December 30, 1935, to William Cecil Harris and Alma Russell Harris.

He was a retired homebuilder/broker and current resident of Gulfport, where he was a member of Westminster Presbyterian church, and a volunteer for “Feed My Sheep.” He enjoyed singing, crafts, and activities at Summerfield Assisted Living.

He was preceded in death by His wife of 67 years, Nancy Harris; and his grandson, William Daniel.

Mr. Harris is survived by his children, Terry Harris (Susan) of Pascagoula, Wes Harris, Richmond, TX, and Ginger Huffman (Stuart), San Antonio, TX; his 8 grandchildren, Adam Harris (Lindsey), Tyler Harris (Amanda), Rhett Harris (Tiffany), Whitney Lofton (Chip), Tanner Huffman, Hadley Harris, Heath Harris, and Charlie Harris; his 9 great-grandchildren, Elisabeth, Parker, Grace, Andrew, Henrietta, Carter, Layla Kate, Britton, and Sawyer Ford; his sisters-in law, Catherine Cox, and Linda Ferrell (Mitch); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM- 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
