Milton Gussow, age 88, a long time resident of Biloxi, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, in Spanish Fort, AL.
Mr. Gussow retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and served his country for 20 years in the United States and overseas. He served in England and France during WWII, and later in Okinawa, Korea and Japan. After his military career, he returned to college and earned his Bachelor's degree at the Univ. of Southern Mississippi, and pursued a 25 year career in journalism and telecommunications.
Throughout his life he displayed the highest levels of ethics, generosity and loyalty to his dear wife Ruth, family, friends and country. He left the world a better place.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; stepfather, Saul; and father, Max.
He is survived by Ruth, his wife of 67 years; his three children: Carol Koules, and husband Ron, Cindy Moldovan, and husband Ernie, and Judy Tolosa, and husband Carlos; four grandchildren: Amy Meyers, Mary Schafer, Laurie Moldovan, and Rob Tolosa; three great-grandchildren: Hannah Schafer, Alex Schafer, and Ryan Schafer; sister, Beatrice; and numerous other family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The funeral procession will leave at 11:35 a.m. for the graveside service at 12:00 noon at Biloxi City Cemetery.
