Mrs. Mildred F. Ryan Ladner of Gulfport has been called to be with her Lord on the morning of May 1, 2009.
Mrs. Ladner was born in Rose Hill, MS, and lived on the Coast for 57 years. She attended high school in Rose Hill and received her Associates Degree from Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, MS. Mrs. Ladner was a member of Burton Memorial United Methodist Church in Gulfport, and retired from the Department of Agriculture in 1981.
Mrs. Ladner was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Etta Fowler; her first husband, Calvin """"Buck"""" Ryan; and a daughter, Charlotte Ryan Carver.
Survivors include her husband, Bertrand Ladner; daughters, Faye Ryan Gill, and Sandra Ryan Hill and husband, John; son, Richard Ryan and wife, Lee Anne; stepchildren, Karen Ann Demoran, Donna Marie Taska, Bert Ladner, Jr., and Alise Ladner; grandchildren, James Gill, Renee Kirschenbaum, Brent Baylor, Ashley Arnold, Bronson Carver, Bryan Carver, and Blake Ryan; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Burton Memorial United Methodist Church on Monday, May 4, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
