Mike (Pop) Holston, age 58 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mike was a longtime employee of the MS Power Company at Plant Jack Watson. He was co-founder of Fiberglass Pools and Spas where he was honored as Dealer of the Year by Royal Fiberglass Pools for three consecutive years.. He was also a loyal NASCAR fan.
Mr. Holston is preceded in death by his father, Berrand Holston; his sons, Timothy Paul Holston and Baby Boy Holston and a grandson, Connor Nathaniel Walters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Louise Holston; his mother, Juanita Holston; his son, Jimmy Holston and his wife, Mary, and his daughter, Carrie Walters and her husband, Vernon, all of Gulfport; his sister, Jean Saucier and her husband, Harvey, of Beulah; his brother, Hollis Ray Holston of Saucier; four grandchildren, Hayden Walters, Kirstin Walters, Dalton Holston, and Taylor Christian, all of Gulfport, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:00pm at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Saucier.
