Michael Towne

Michael Towne, 46, passed away on September 2, 2021, at Marshall Medical Center North in Guntersville, Alabama. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with a visitation from 12:30pm until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home of Grace, PO Box 5009, Vancleave, MS 39565.

Michael was born on July 23, 1975, in Hickory, North Carolina to George and Carolyn Towne. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and enjoyed all things Syfy. He enjoyed video and computer games, taught himself how to program and work on computers, and was a student at Gadsden State Community College pursuing information technology certificates at the time of his passing.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, George Anthony Towne, Sr.

Michael is survived by his mother, Carolyn Towne of Gulfport, MS; his brother George (Sheree) Towne of Gadsden, AL; and his children Trent and Amelia Towne of Placerville, CA.
