Michael Damon Strong

Michael Damon Strong, age 18, of Gulfport, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2023 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was born to Rolanda Calbert and Wilbert Strong on January 27, 2005 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was a resident of Gulfport.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Rosie L. Strong and Damascus Strong, Staten Calbert and Carrie Calbert.

He is survived by his parents, Rolanda Calbert and Wilbert Strong; beloved partner, Bethany Reynolds; daughter, Layla Reynolds; son (on the way), Jaden Michael Damon; and siblings, Michelle McCullum, Megual Strong, Wilbert Strong, Jr., Amanda Calbert, Ronald Hinton, Sam Norman, Alexis Calbert and Alexandria Calbert.

Michael was a cherished member of the Harrison Central High School community. Michael was a devoted gamer, known for his kindness and unwavering love for his fiancé and children. His remarkable ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him, even in the most trying times, will be dearly missed. He also found great solace and joy in the serenity of the beach. Michael's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM, with visitation from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. Repast will follow at the funeral homes reception center, from 11:00 – 12:00 pm.
