Michael Ray Sheffield, 52, and a resident of Picayune, died at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008 in Picayune.
Mr. Sheffield worked for AT&T for 32 years. He was born in Biloxi on February 25, 1956 to Jean Sheffield of Picayune and the late Bobby Sheffield of Gulfport. He had lived in Picayune for the past 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Sheffield of Picayune; his mother, Jean Sheffield; his daughter, Christina Sheffield of Mobile, Alabama and fiance, Gary Clay II; his son, George T. Michael Sheffield and his wife, Divya of Starkville, Mississippi; his two sisters, Bobby J. """"Cricket"""" Moody and husband, Frank, and Isma Scarborough and husband, Billy, all of Gulfport.
He was a loving husband, father and friend and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
Friends are invited to join the Sheffield family for visitation on Monday, May 26, 2008 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Amercian Heart Association.
