Michael "Mike" Adrian Hannon

Mike was a native of Jacksonville, Florida.  He was a Tech Sergeant for the U. S. Air Force, currently retired Air Force. He was employed as a Purchasing Manager for Bay Tech.  Mike is a Perfect Soulmate” for 14 years, to his wife Wanda, a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, friend and mentor to all whom knew him Mike was “Father of the Year” for 40 years running. He loved hunting, fishing, was a men’s group leader at Campground Baptist Church, and a highly active grandfather. Mike loved God and enjoyed going on the Men’s Retreat each year with his men’s group at Campground Baptist. Mike never met a stranger. He touched so many hearts and lives with his humbleness and kindness. He will be dearly missed, to all who knew him.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother Lucretia Hannon; his father Adrian Hannon; and his sister, Kerry Gore.  He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Wanda Hannon; his children Chuck Hannon (Monica), Hope Murrell and Raymond Murrell; his grandchildren, Kade Hannon, Dylan Hannon, Josh Ladner, and Alyssa Posey; his great grandson, Cohen Posey; his sister, Susan McCampbell; and his niece, Chyenne Gore.

Pall bearers for the service will be Brandon Triplett, Ace Morris, Ronnie Brewer, Jason Rutledge, Frank Carpenter, Durvin Triplett, Charles Hannon, and Kade Hannon.  Honorary pall bearers will be the men of Campground Baptist Church.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Campground Baptist Church, 20577 Highway 53, Gulfport, MS.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., with the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery in Gulfport.
