Michael Ryan James, age 42, of Gulfport, passed away on November 8, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hon. Dan M. Russell, Jr. and Dorothy Russell, and Marvin James; and his aunt, Kathy Russell.
Survivors include his mother, Dale Russell James; a special uncle, Ronnie Russell; cousins, Brandon Russell and Kim Russell; nieces, Layla Barnes and Ella Becker; his father, Michael James; a sister, Sarah James; his grandmother, Winona James; an aunt, Monica Fazio; and other relatives and friends.
Michael was born in New Orleans and lived on the coast most of his life. He attended St. Stanislaus and was a graduate of Gulfport High School. He excelled in all sports, especially baseball, bowling, and loved watching football with his family and friends. Michael was a kind soul and was special to all of his friends and family.
A visitation will be on Friday, November 16, 2018, from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. A service will be at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
