Michael Guy

Michael Todd Guy, age 53, of Long Beach, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at his residence.

Michael was a fun-loving sort of fellow, who had a way of making folks smile, even on their worst day.  The exuberant spirit he had will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and others who have known him.  But even though his spot down here is now empty, we take great joy in knowing we shall see him again over in that wonderful Land of Promise. So please know that we have not lost our husband, dad, son, or brother – “for when you know where something is, it ain’t lost.”

Michael was born on April 15, 1969, in Satsuma, Alabama. He graduated from D’Iberville High School in 1987 and was a self-employed contractor.  He loved fishing, Auburn football, golfing, hunting, playing craps and Nascar (Jeff Gordon).

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Guy; his paternal grandparents, Allen L & Christine O. Guy; and his maternal grandparents, Gaston B. & Edith A. Pipkin.

Michael is survived by his wife of 12 years, Erica Guy; his parents, Donnie & Ivorine Guy; his 3 children, Devon (Amanda) Guy, Caleb (Sarah) Guy and Shelby Guy; his brother, Brent Guy; his 2 grandchildren, Lily Guy and Brecken Guy; and a host of loving family members and friends.

Friends are invited to join the Guy family for visitation and services on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS.  Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with the Funeral Service at 11 a.m.   Michael will be laid to rest at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
