Michael Ervin Byrd, age 54, resident of Gulfport, passed away on November 6, 2008, in Jackson, MS.
Mr. Byrd was a native of and lifelong resident of Gulfport. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport, worked in the commerical landscaping field, and enjoyed being in the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita Louise and John Ervin Byrd; brother, Tim Byrd.
Survivors include brothers, Steve Byrd and his wife LeAnne of Alpharetta, GA, and Mark Byrd of South Lake Tahoe, CA; and four nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, November 14, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, where friends may call an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Gift Management Services, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250
