Michael """"Andy"""" Brooks, age 28, resident of Gulfport, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mr. Brooks served in the U.S. Navy in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was a proud father, the life of the party and a born salesman.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Roxanne M. Brooks of Gulfport; parents, Luther Michael Brooks and Iris T. Brooks of Rock Hill, SC; his children Ian Christian Brooks and Camryn Noelle Brooks of Gulfport; sister, Karen Greene and her husband, Pete Greene and their children, Ben and John of Waxhaw, SC; grandparents, Luther M. Brooks and Everine Brooks of Rock Hill, SC.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place in Rock Hill, SC.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Michael Brooks account at Peoples Bank.
