Michael W. Asher, age 52, of Long Beach, passed away on May 18, 2008 in Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. Asher and Betty Gibbons Asher.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Jana Asher Montgomery of Long Beach; and his grandchildren, Aisley Montgomery, Allie Gates, and Asher Gates.
He was of the Catholic faith, employed at the IP and Treasure Bay casinos, and loved golf and football.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM where friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Handsboro Cemetery.
