Michael Dean Acre

Michael Dean Acre, age 79, passed away on February 16, 2024 in Biloxi. He was a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi and formerly of Oreland, Pennsylvania.

Dean was born on June 16, 1944 in Bell, California, to Charles Bruce Acre and Betty Jo Simco. He served in the United States Navy then worked a career for Wanamakers Department Store in HVAC maintenance and repair. He enjoyed road trips, golf, travel and riding his motorcycle. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Bruce Acre and Betty Jo Simco, and his wife, Barbara Ann Acre.

Dean is survived by two daughters, Kerri Jane Acre and her husband Daniel Lawrence Apgar, and Bonnie Lynn Farrell and her husband Steven Joseph Farrell; sister, Kerri Tinney and brother Joe Polley (Wanda Polley); two grandchildren, Kaley Madison Farrell and Brenden Joseph Farrell; and 9 nieces and nephews.
