Mellie B. Bauler, 74, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 in Biloxi.
She was a native of Roaring Springs, TX and had been a resident of Gulfport for 54 years. Mrs. Bauler was an active member of First Baptist Church, Gulfport where she was a member of the Adult choir for over 50 years, Scrap Iron Sunday School Class, and a former Sunday School Teacher. She retired as Vice President of Office Supply Company, Gulfport and she worked as a secretary at Bayou View Elementary School in the mid 1950's. Mellie, affectionally known as """"Me Me"""", took pride in gardening and working in her yard. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, daughters, and special grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Martin """"Marty"""" Bauler and parents, Jess and Fleety Hardin. Survivors include her husband, John """"Honey"""" Bauler; 2 daughters: Brenda (Jerry) Lampley, and Cindy (Joe) Langenbacker, all of Gulfport; 5 grandsons: Ashton, Landon, and Wesley Burks, Jeremy and Josh Lampley, and numerous friends and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, December 23, 2005 from 10am until 12 noon at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lawson Ave, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 12 noon in the church sanctuary.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
