Melissa K. Perez, 24, formerly of White Cloud, MI and currently of McHenry, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009, in Gulfport.
Ms. Perez was preceded in death by her father, Richard Perez; her grandmother, Elvira Perez, and her cousin, Andrew Washburn.
She is survived by her mother, Penny Wheater, of McHenry; her step-father, Don Wheater, of White Cloud, MI; her siblings, Jacqueline Perez of McHenry, Tara Perez of White Cloud, MI, Clayton Steffes of McHenry, and Wences Tepole of Gulfport; special cousins, Jennifer Washburn, Jessica Washburn, and Crystal Washburn; four nieces, Amada Perez, Arianna Perez, Rilie Heether, and Ava Washburn; and two nephews, Hayden Perez and Brenden Heether.
