Melissa Ann Wilson Holliman, age 53, resident of Pass Christian, was carried to Heaven in the arms of Angels on Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
She received her Cosmotology License and was a former employee of Hitz Hair Salon in Orange Grove.
She loved the outdoors and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her two dogs.
Her strong will, care and compassion for others outweighed her fight against cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Wilson; and her sister-in-laws, Robbie Wilson and Melody Holliman.
She is survived by her mother and step father, Mattie and Jim Jones of Pass Christian; her children, Monica Ross of Pass Christian and Ronnie Holliman, Jr. and wife Jenny of Parker, CO; her brother, Danny Wilson of Pass Christian; and her five grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Austin, Justin, and Kiley.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, May 30, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach.
The funeral service will be held at 10 am, Monday, May 31, 2010 at Highland Baptist Church of Pass Christian, Menge Ave, Pass Christian.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Finley Cemetery.
