Melinda Morales Graham was granted her angel wings on August 18, 2012, at the age of 53. She was born September 26, 1958, in Omaha, Nebraska. Her final days were spent surrounded by family & friends that Melinda had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.
Melinda's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. As an amazing wife, mother, & friend, she will be remembered by her loved ones for the compassion & advice she gave, for she was a CNA nurse for nearly 17 years. Her passions of kayaking & football were widely known & she lived for another day on the water & never missed a ballgame. Nothing surpassed the love she had for her children/grandchildren it was indescribable. Throughout the toughest of times, she always had a smile and a joke. Her strength & her faith in God were simply contagious & those that knew her were truly blessed to have known and loved her.
Melinda is survived by her loving husband Charles 'Steve' Graham of Saucier; her children Carlos (Anike) Morales of Biloxi, Jamie (Brittany) Graham of Biloxi, Samantha (Frank) Mickel of Perk, Brittany Graham of Saucier, Matthew Graham of Saucier, Sean (Janell) Graham of Bay St. Louis, & Shanna Graham of Gulfport; her parents Emilia & John Mock of Milton, FL; brothers Fred Morales of Mobile, AL., & Jamie Morales of San Antonio, TX; her thirteen grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Gianna, & Adeline Morales, Alyssa & Cameron Graham, Bryce, Trae, Chase, & Temperance Mickel, Devan & Mason Graham, Tyler & Austin Clinton, as well as two grandchildren on the way.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at 5:00pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Saucier, where family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.
