Melba L. Oglesby

Melba L. Oglesby, age 95, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
She was born in McRae, Georgia on August 23, 1914, and was a longtime resident of Sanford, FL. She was a resident of Long Beach since 1964, and was a member of Gates Avenue Fellowship. Mrs. Oglesby will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Oglesby is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 77 years, John Oglesby of Long Beach; her daughter, Violet Bosarge of Long Beach; five grandchildren, Sandra Dean of Pensacola, FL, Donnie Bosarge and Brian Bosarge of Long Beach, Kevin Bosarge of Hattiesburg, and Rhonda Edwards of Bellevue, NE and fifteen great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach. For more information, please call (228)539-9800.
