Mrs. Melba Dyess, age 93, resident of Gulfport passed away June 30, 2012 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Dyess was born in Jasper, AL on April 20, 1919 and graduated from High School in Jasper. She was married to the late William Norman Dyess. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bill Dyess; and her daughter, Coralynn Dyess.
Survivors include her sons, James Dyess (Karen) and John Dyess; and her brother, Jack Ferguson.
No services will be held at this time.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Dyess' name to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
