Maurice Eddie Robinson, age 55 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Sunday, June 22, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mr. Robinson was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He served in the U.S. Army in the Special Forces Unit. He was an avid gardener & fisherman and was a wonderful musician who enjoyed playing instruments.
Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie & Doris Randall Robinson and a brother, Donald Robinson.
He is survived by his two brothers, Gary (Barbara) Robinson of Gulfport and Ronald (Linda) Robinson of Pass Christian; his fiancee, Becky Carr of Long Beach; his children, Jessica Diane Robinson and Christopher Eddie Robinson both of Gulf Shores, AL and Amy Larice Robinson Mastrapa of Apopka, FL; two grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at 2:00pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit one prior to the service. A guestbook may be viewed and signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
