Maureen Rotherham Todd passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. She was the only child born to Ernest and Sheila Bell Rotherham in Liverpool, England, November 5, 1933, Guy Fawkes Day.
She was pre-deceased by her parents; husband, E. Donald Todd; daughter, Jane Guice; and grandson, Jeremy Harris. Maureen is survived by her daughter, Victoria Jordan (Scott) and her two sons, Wayne Harris (Kathy) and Robert Harris (Maria). She leaves six grandchildren: Heather Baack (Curtis), Joshua Kelly, Corey Nihlean (Jeff), Cameron Harris (Paige), Shelby Fredericks, and Sean M. Fredericks. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren: Nolan Baack, Jordan Baack, Ashlynn Kelly, Tyler, Trace and Travis Nihlean, and Jaxon Harris. Maureen is also survived by her dearest sister friend, Jackie Walli (Jim).
Maureen came to this country in 1955 and became a US Citizen November 1962. She could do just about anything once she set her mind to it. Maureen was a phenomenal seamstress and could sew anything to include reupholstering furniture and her 1960’s Camaro. She was an artist who painted, as well as made the most beautiful quilts. Maureen liked volunteering at the theater and symphony in Atlanta, GA. She was also a longtime member of the Royal Sovereigns formerly the British Wives Club. Maureen enjoyed hiking, working out, and playing tennis. And she enjoyed traveling and taking cruises.
The family is very grateful for the wonderful staff of Southern Magnolia Manor who cared for her and kept her comfortable. The family is also thankful for the support and care Traditions Hospice provided.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., in West Jackson County. She will be laid to rest at a later date, in Biloxi National Cemetery.
