Maude L. Cuevas, age 77, of Saucier, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2011, in Saucier.
Mrs. Cuevas was a lifelong resident of Saucier and retired from the Harrison County Tax Assesor's office after 38 years of faithful service. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lizana, and voluntered at the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Military Order of the Cooties Auxiliary, and she enjoyed cooking and caring for children.
She was preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Annie Ladner, her son, Ronald Cuevas, and her brother, Bobby Ladner.
Survivors include her son, Travis J. (Cindy) Davis, 1 brother, Joe (Nancy) Ladner, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, life-long friend, Jim Wetzel, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 - 9 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, with a Rosary service at 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Thursday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lizana, with visitation from 9:30 - 11 am.
Interment will be in Wedgeworth Cemetery.
