Mrs. Matt Thomas, age 78 of Long Beach, died on Monday, February 5, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Thomas was a native of Hammond, LA and had been a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University and she received a Master's in Art at Louisiana State University. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Gulf Coast Art Society and was of the Episcopal faith.
Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. & Laura Whitley Donaldson and her husband, George Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Mike Andrews and her grandson, Todd Andrews, both of New Orleans, LA; her cousin, Jack Pantall of Mountain Home, AR; and her very special friends, Michael & Jo Ann Sperry of Long Beach, Betty Stafford and Dr. Joe Mitchell both of Gulfport.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Kiln-DeLisle Road Chapel where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. An online guestbook may be signed at www.gulfcoastfh.com.
