Mathaniel Jason "Mat" Corser

Mathaniel ""Mat"" Jason Corser, age 37, died on Sunday, June 24, 2012, in Germany.
Mat was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother and the most loyal friend. He had a way of making friends feel like family. He had a passion for life and not letting anything hold him back. In 2008, he fulfilled a dream of joining the US Army. He completed BCT in Fort Sill, OK and AIT in Fort Lee, VA. He was very dedicated to his job as a Mortuary Affairs Specialist and loved being a soldier. He believed in doing his job with dignity, honor, respect and integrity. While being stationed in Germany, he became a member of the KINGZ Motorcycle Club, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow riders while pursuing a lifelong passion of riding motorcycles.
Mat was preceded in death by his sister, Sherrie Bush; grandparents, Ambrow & Gertrude Sanderson; and father-in-law, Jim Powers. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Corser; children, Mia Corser, Cari Corser, Kacie Corser and Alisha Whitten; mother, Julia Corser of Pascagoula; father, Norman Corser of San Diego; siblings, Richard Glover of Texas, Royce Haggard of Pascagoula, Barry Glover (Patty) of Lucedale, Dee Ellison (Jim) of Florida, Daphne Crawford of Florida, Lorene Smrz of California, Kathie Lilly of California, Jannie Cook of California, Joann Corser of California; mother-in-law, Elaine Powers of Gulfport; sister-in-law, Crystal McAlpin (Chad) of D'Iberville; brothers-in-law, Joshua Woods of Gulfport & Christopher Smith of Gulfport; and 15 nieces and 4 nephews and every friend he ever made.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service
