Mary Katherine Parker

Mary Katherine Parker, age 78, of Saucier, passed away on October 31, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W. David Sellers and Annie Lottie Snowden Sellers.

Katherine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Parker; her children, LaRina Gayle Woods (Kevin) and Greg Parker (Amy); 3 siblings, Nolan Sellers (Betty), Willie “Buddy” Sellers (Audrey), and Sidney Sellers (Betty Jean); 3 grandchildren, Matthew Long, David Long (Mary), and Garrett Comstock; 1 great-grandchild, Carter Long; and other relatives and friends.

She was a naïve of Bond, MS and was a long time resident of Saucier.  She was a graduate of Stone County High School and she worked as a sewing instructor at Job Corps prior to her retirement.  After her retirement, Katherine enjoyed being a homemaker and she was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed creating ceramics, gardening, and baking.  She was a faithful member of the O’Neal Road Church of Christ for more than 40 years.  Her family and friends were very important to her.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 10 - 11 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.  The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Bond Cemetery in Stone County.
