Mary Katherine Justice

Mary Katherine Justice, age 91, of Morton, formerly of Long Beach, passed away on June 18, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse of 58 years, G.V. Justice, Sr; a son, Carey Anderson Justice; and her parents, Norman Bagby, Sr. and Kay Bagby.

Mrs. Justice is survived by her 3 children, Vance Justice (Alison), Shirley Davis (George), and John Justice; her siblings, Bill Bagby (Marcia), Norman Bagby, Jr. (Fran), and Frances Alston (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Emily Justice, Paul Turner (Stephanie), Alan Justice (Christine), and Mary Alice Chandler (Philip); 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

She was a current resident of Morton, MS and was a long time resident of Long Beach.  She graduated high school in Jackson, AL and worked as a tele-type operator for the City of Hattiesburg, bookkeeper for Long Beach Drug, Jones Brothers Drug Stores, and office manager for Ter Chemicals in Pass Christian.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, spending time with her pets, and especially spending time with her family.  She was the former treasurer for the Long Beach Historical Society.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39501, or the Diabetes Foundation of MS, 800 Avery Blvd N Ste 100, Ridgeland, MS 39157

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 2 - 3 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  The funeral service will be at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
