Mary Jane Yates passed away on May 29, 2012 at the age of 56.
Jane was born on March 6, 1956 in Gulfport, MS. She was the daughter of Mary Holden Baylis and Roy Albert both of Gulfport. Jane married James Yates in 1983 in Hawaii. She will be remembered as a great wife, mother, sister, friend, and homemaker. Jane loved life and loved to have a good time partying with family and friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Holden Baylis; father, Roy Albert; brother, Dennis Albert; and sister, Diane Bosarge.
She is survived by her husband, James Yates; children, Johnie Harvey and his wife Samantha, Jennifer Steiner and her fianceÌ Timothy Ferrell, and Jeremy Harvey; her siblings, Roy Albert, Jr., Philip Albert, Susan Albert Rhodes, and Sharon Baker; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm in the funeral home chapel immediately following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jane's name to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
