Mary Wine

Mary Ann Wine age 72, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on February 8, 2021 in Meadville, MS.
She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Fortenberry; her mother, Peggy Fortenberry; and a brother, Mitch Fortenberry.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Richard M. Wine; her son and daughter in law, Richard M. Wine, II. (Jennifer); and daughter, Melisa Toche; siblings, Peggy Stringer (Ben), Frank Fortenberry (Melinda); her precious grandchildren whom she adored, Lynsey Wine, Ashlegh Wine, and Cameron Toche; numerous relatives and dear friends.
Mary Ann spent 33 years and 8 months working Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base before her retirement, then worked for and retired from the Jackson County Tax Collector’s office. She was awarded the 2001 Performance Award from the Department of Air Force, and in her second retirement, enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for family and friend’s, will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., West Jackson County.  Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery.
