She is survived by her children, Simone Carbonneau-Kincaid and Terry Kincaid of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Suzanne McCollistor of Pass Christian, MS; grandchildren, Ian Kincaid of Kernersville, NC, Claire Slate (Shane) of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Robert Joseph Saucier (Heather) of Pass Christian, MS; great-grandchildren, Savanna Alexis Saucier, Mackenna Danielle Saucier, Remington Hunter Saucier all of Pass Christian, MS; and other relatives, Anna Doran, Larry Longhi, Linda  Henderson, Victoria Eldridge, Robert Simms, John Edwin Simms, Robert Longhi, Teresa Short, Cheryl Dobert, Mary Elizabeth Knight, Bill Simms and Wesley Simms.

Mary was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and was a resident of Pass Christian, Mississippi, formerly of San Francisco, San Carlos and Half Moon Bay, California. Mary's first job was as a model for the Waldorf Astoria in New York. She worked as a cosmetician and retail clerk for much of her life while she raised her children on her own. In her later years she became an antique dealer and had shops in San Mateo, CA and Pass Christian, MS. She also operated the Seawitch Lounge in Pass Christian before making it an antique shop.

Mary was self-educated, a voracious reader, a walking encyclopedia, and at one time was able to converse in as many as four languages. If you were willing to listen, you would learn something new from her every day. There was never a time she did not have a book in her hands, non-fiction, nature, and history being her favorites. She was a rock hound, antique dealer, and folk artist in her later years. She loved to search for treasures, collectibles, and antiques. She was an avid gardener, and landscaper and saved and traded seeds with people all over the country. She loved to cook and tried all types of recipes from any culture. Her daughters enjoyed running roads with her and going to all the estate and garage sales. She loved teaching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren how to garden, paint and create. There was not an art form or craft she was unwilling to try. She instilled a love of learning, nature, animals, plants, and history in all of her family members. She also taught us the meaning of hard work and a do-it-yourself and fix-it-yourself attitude. There was no such thing as “I can't do it”. She was the ultimate cat lover and had many over the years. She loved to travel especially if she could find new rocks, plants, and treasures. Mary had a zest for life like no other and wanted to live it her way until the end. Mary would want all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren to know that they should follow their dreams and passions and to never say "I cannot do it".
