Mary Ward

Mary Alice FREIGHTMAN Ward, age 70, of Gulfport, died Friday, September 28, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Ward was born in Handsboro and was a lifelong resident of Gulfport.
She was a member of Riley Chapel Methodist Church in Handsboro. Mrs. Ward loved sewing, gardening and volunteer work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Louvonia William Freightman; three sisters, Ethel Mae Freightman Hutson, Vivian Freightman Tyler and Luecresha Freightman Harris; and three brothers, Archie """"Tic-Tac"""" Freightman, George 'Big Boy"""" Freightman, and Willie """"Bill"""" Freightman.
Survivors include a daughter, Monique Luecresha Bryant, of Gulfport; two sons, Emmett Robert Bryant and wife Rose and Gerald """"Freight Train"""" Bryant, both of Gulfport; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., at Riley Chapel United Methodist Church in Handsboro. Arrangements are by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 HWY 49N, Gulfport.
