Mary Jane Tucker, age 91, of Pascagoula, died Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Pascagoula.
Mrs. Tucker was a native of Collins, MS and had been a resident of Pascagoula most of her life. She was a hairdresser since 1942 and was a member of the Jackson County Hairdressers Association, a charter member of Eastlawn Baptist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harris Tucker; her daughter, Lois Trehern; her parents, Frank and Margie Taylor; 2 brothers, James Taylor and Ray Taylor, and a grandson, Bill Tucker.
Survivors include her son, Bobby (Lynn) Tucker, Moss Point, a son-in-law, Mickey Trehern, Pascagoula, 2 sisters, Vernell Mathieu, Pascagoula, and Hazel DeLarge, Carson City, NV, 3 grandchildren, Laurie (Jimmy) Vice, Lynda Miller, and Rob (Lori) Tucker, 3 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Corey, and Leslie, and numerous other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be at 3 pm Tuesday at Eastlawn Baptist Church where friends may visit from 2 aÌ‚â‚"" 3 pm. A graveside service will be 11 am Wed. at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery near Florence, MS.
