Mary Tubbs

On May 4, 2017, Mary Lewis Tubbs rejoined her soulmate, Philip Lynn Tubbs in eternal matrimony. They married on August 4, 1956. In the 56 years to follow, they raised three children, Mike, Mona, and David, and saw grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren come into this world.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Verta Lee Carroll Lewis, and her husband Lynn.
She was a stay-at-home mom for the young years of her children. She was always crocheting, enjoying her flowers, and making sure there was a warm hardy meal on the table every day. When the children became teens, it was time for her first job. For approximately 26 years, "Ms. Mary" was the best hamburger flipping, milk shake making, chili making cook that the Frosty Mug in Wiggins, MS will remember. Over the years, she called all of the employees her children. Other than her family and Frosty Mug family, NASCAR and racing oval tracks were the love of her life.
The family greatly appreciates all of the warm thoughts that have been coming in and encourages everyone to live life with love as Mary and Lynn did.
The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers and such things that are traditional, the family encourages donations to be made to your local organizations to help children in need.
