Mary Helen Wallace Spiers, age 68 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Thursday, March 22, 2012, in Gulfport.
Helen was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She loved spending time outdoors, fishing, and camping. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther & Lora Scofield Wallace; her husband, Roland ""Jack"" Spiers, Sr., her son, Roland Spiers, Jr.; her brothers, J.C. and Raymond Wallace and her daughter-in-law, Audra Spiers.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Brett) McKay of Kiln; her son, James David Spiers of Necaise; her sister, Betty Brown of Leetown; her brothers, Gary Wayne Wallace of Carriere and Billy (Margaret) Wallace of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Corrine Spiers and Peytin McKay; two great grandchildren, Caroline and Fisher Bruce and her very close and special friends, Eva Gay McKay of Kiln and Peggy Ladner of Pass Christian.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
